Aubrey and Joyce Chernick lead the Fairbrook Foundation. Aubrey Chernick is president and chairman of the Fairbrook Foundation, while Joyce Chernick serves as vice chairman. Separate from the Fairbrook Foundation, Aubrey Chernick is a former trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and helped provide the $3.5 million in initial capital to start the conservative blog Pajamas Media, which used its online platform to oppose the Park51 community center in New York City.

Fairbrook Foundation provides tens of thousands of dollars to conservative organizations including the Hudson Institute and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Between 2004 and 2011, Fairbrook contributed $1,859,450 to the Islamophobia network. Among the recipients are ACT! For America Education, the Center for Security Policy, the David Horowitz Freedom Center, the Investigative Project on Terrorism, Jihad Watch, the Middle East Forum, and Society of Americans for National Existence.
