ACT! for America Education

Brigitte Gabriel founded ACT! for America Education, formerly American Congress for Truth, in 2002. ACT! for America  Education is a nonprofit organization and is described as “the only grassroots organization dedicated to national security and terrorism.” According to its website, the organization has more than 279,000 members in 875 chapters operating nationwide.    

According to ACT! for America Education’s tax filings, the organization’s mission is “a desire to educate the American public about the threat of radical Islam to the US.” In 2013, ACT! for American Education’s revenue was $923,406.

Brigitte Gabriel validates everything championed by experts in the Islamophobia network but goes one step further, ruthlessly demeaning Arabs and Muslims as “having no soul.” Gabriel’s ACT! for America Education is a single-issue group that aims to posit fear of Islam as a force in politics. The potency of Gabriel’s message is padded by ACT! for America Education's sophisticated organization—ACT! operates a website, organizes meetings and local seminars, and participates in leading conferences.

ACT! for America Education has received $208,697 in funding from donors in the Islamophobia network between 2001 and 2012.
